چکیده
Molting activity and innate immunity play a pivotal role in the development growth of crustaceans are related to mortality body abnormality. To evaluate synergistic effect vitamin D3 (vit-D3) Ca molting Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis), crabs (3.20 ± 0.01 g) were fed six diets formulated with two levels (0% 1.5%, abbreviated D N) three vit-D3 (0, 9,000 27,000 IU/kg, LVD, MVD HVD) level for 56 days. Crabs 1.5% IU/kg (N + MVD) had highest performance, hematic-1,25-dihydroxy vit-D3, hematic‑calcium, hepatic‑phosphorus antioxidant capacity among all groups. On contrary, without reduced tissue calcium‑phosphorus deposition, capacity, expression molting-related immune-related genes. Compared N HVD (1.5% vit-D3), those +27,000 vit-D3) significantly low performance gene expressions antibacterial immunity. This study demonstrates that adequate dietary calcium can enhance growth, activity, E. sinensis. Moreover, it provides an in-depth understanding molecular mechanism

Effect of temperature stress on the survival of juvenile Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis)
Eriocheir sinensis, which is an important aquaculture species, belongs to the class Crustacea. To discuss the temperature tolerance of E. sinensis, the survival rates of juvenile crabs of E. sinensis were determined in this paper using a series of temperature settings (normal temperature, 25°C, 30°C, 32°C, 34°C, 35°C, 36°C, 38°C, 40 °C). The results indicated that except the normal temperature ...
متن کاملDraft genome of the Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis
BACKGROUND The Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis, is one of the most studied and economically important crustaceans in China. Its transition from a swimming to a crawling method of movement during early development, anadromous migration during growth, and catadromous migration during breeding have been attractive features for research. However, knowledge of the underlying molecular mechan...
متن کاملComparative Transcriptome Analysis Reveals Sex-Biased Gene Expression in Juvenile Chinese Mitten Crab Eriocheir sinensis
Sex-biased genes are considered to account for most of phenotypic differences between males and females. In order to explore the sex-biased gene expression in crab, we performed the whole-body transcriptome analysis in male and female juveniles of the Chinese mitten crab Eriocheir sinensis using next-generation sequencing technology. Of the 23,349 annotated unigenes, 148 were identified as sex-...
متن کاملSelenium Accumulation, Antioxidant Enzyme Levels, and Amino Acids Composition in Chinese Mitten Crab (Eriocheir sinensis) Fed Selenium-Biofortified Corn
The effects of selenium (Se)-biofortified corn on the total Se contents, the antioxidant enzyme levels, and the amino acids composition in Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis) during the stage of the fifth shelling to maturity were investigated in the present study. The culture density of crabs was 600 per 667 m², and they were continuously fed 120.4 mg Se from Se-biofortified corn per 667 ...
متن کاملTranscriptomic variation of hepatopancreas reveals the energy metabolism and biological processes associated with molting in Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis
Molting is a critical developmental process for crustaceans, yet the underlying molecular mechanism is unknown. In this study, we used RNA-Seq to investigate transcriptomic profiles of the hepatopancreas and identified differentially expressed genes at four molting stages of Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis). A total of 97,398 transcripts were assembled, with 31,900 transcripts annotated...
